Don’t Leave Money on the Table!

Airline passengers literally left money on the table to the tune of almost $1 million!

The TSA reported for Fiscal Year 2019, ending September 30, 2019, passengers left $926,030.44 on the table.  This is money that passengers pulled out of their pockets and placed in the security bins as they passed through airport security checkpoints. Passengers left a combination of coins and paper money.

So, if you do not want to give extra money to the government, you may want to put loose change and bills in your carry- on instead of the little bins.

Or you can always donate it to my student loan fund!

Here is the press release from the TSA: https://www.tsa.gov/news/press/releases/2020/08/21/passengers-left-more-900k-behind-tsa-security-checkpoints#:~:text=The%20money%20consisted%20of%20loose,screening%20process%20at%20TSA%20checkpoints.&text=When%20passengers%20approach%20the%20checkpoint,including%20wallets%20and%20loose%20change.
