If you have federal student loans that were placed in forbearance due to the CARES Act, there’s good news!
Last week, President Trump signed an executive order to extend the current deadline from September 30, 2020 to December 31, 2020. That means you do not have to make any payments on your qualifying federal student loans, you will not accrue interest, and your credit will not be marked for non-payment.
